Lunar 21
From wireless to satellite technology – Derby's place in the 21st Century
Derby’s hi-tech ‘DNA’ Lunar21 events are open to members of the public who share curiosity, inquisitiveness and creativity – who want to meet, hear and ask questions that shed light on Derby’s place in the 21st Century.
The next Lunar21 event is on 12 September, and will look at Derby’s journey from wireless to satellite technology, with presentations by BBC Radio Derby’s Andy Potter, and Dr Sarah Hill from the National Space Academy.
Immediately before the presentations visitors will be able to see a display representing forty years of BBC Radio Derby, in the Ground Floor Foyer of The Guildhall Theatre. After the speakers’ presentations, there will be an opportunity for questions and contributions from the floor.
