A beginners guide to professional graphic design tools and techniques for non graphic designers.
This course is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to start producing professional looking designs and layouts. The course covers designing for web and print, including preparing images, graphics and text.

Mac for PC users and Introduction to iLife

Are you a PC user switching to a Mac and want to find how to use it? Do you want know how to create fantastic media rich content with your Mac? If you have any doubts or questions about Macs this course will provide the answers.
The course is ideal for educators, artists and anyone who wants to use Macs as an inspirational learning tool. It is also ideal for technical support professionals with little Mac experience.

Film making

Creative Exchange and QUAD present a free 2-day course where you will begin to learn the art and craft of film making from an experienced director.
Taking you from script through to the edit, you will learn about script breakdown, shot selection, efficient shooting for the editing process as well as 'on set' sound recording considerations.

Have you ever thought of presenting your own radio show? This two day course will instruct you on the general technical skills and know-how involved, whilst encouraging the development of your confidence and personal style.
You will learn how to load and drive a professional radio broadcast play-out system, how to choose and operate recording devices and how to edit raw recorded sound material.
You will have the opportunity to present your own unique radio piece.
Digital photography
17-18 June and 8-9 September
This is a great opportunity to develop your technical, creative and professional photographic skills.
During this course you will learn how to get the best out of a digital SLR camera, improve your photographic vision and make the best use of natural light.
This course is ideal for anyone who wants to improve the photography.
