11.03.10 Call for entries for The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair

They will present 140+ of the most innovative and influential designer-makers in the UK - both established and emerging - and give them a platform to sell their work directly to the public and trade.  To ensure high standards and cutting-edge work, all exhibitors will be selected by an independent panel of craft experts to create an inspiring mix of ceramics, jewellery, glass, wood, textiles, silver, metalwork, basketry, paper and more.

The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, a three day event with a preview evening and awards ceremony, will be held between 21st-24th  October 2010. The event will take place in a purpose-built hard-sided pavilion situated in Hardman Boulevard, Spinningfields, Manchester. Spinningfields is the city’s new rapidly growing business quarter and is home to some of the city’s leading financial and legal companies.

The event will provide an excellent opportunity to sell and promote your work to a new audience of buyers and collectors Exhibition stands from £360 ( 2mx1.5m); shared applications from two makers welcome.

The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair at Spinningfields is organised by Great Northern Events (NW) Ltd, a not-for-profit organisation, developed to champion contemporary craft in the North and promote designer-makers.
