Baseline Creative Join Dragon Race
Baseline Creative in Banks Mill,
Team members, led by Baseline Director Craig Barker, competed against eight other teams and came a respectable fourth place in the 500m race along the River Trent.
Craig Barker, who set up Baseline in 2003 and specialises in offline and online creative work, explained: “We work with a variety of charities both on a professional and a fundraising level including the Nottinghamshire Royal Society for the Blind (NRSB).
“This was a great family day with races being held throughout the day.
It was our first attempt at the Dragon Boat Race and, considering some of the teams were having professional coaching several weeks before the event, it was not a bad first attempt.
“We’ve already got our eye on next year’s event and hope to improve our result in 2011."
