15.05.08 Web designer, Derby - Associated Northcliffe DigitalWe’re looking for a bright, Web 2.0-savvy designer to join our talented technical team and help us ensure that we continue to create truly innovative and market-leading websites.
You’ll have a passion for the Internet as well as for brilliant design. You’ll need to show us your commitment to creating high quality work and finding innovative solutions to usability issues. You’ll also have a constant thirst to learn more and develop your skills and abilities.
We’ll give you the chance to work closely with our talented team of developers, analysts and product owners and you won’t be afraid to voice your own great ideas about how our websites could work even better for their users.
It’s important that you have proven skills in Adobe Photoshop, HTML and CSS. You need to understand usability requirements and user-friendly interface design.
Your role will include creating designs from initial concepts through to implementation in HTML/CSS and production of style guides for future updates.
Familiarity with Flash and JavaScript would be an advantage and degree-level education in a related subject would be useful.
We work out of offices just a short walk from Derby city centre and the railway station.
