14.01.10 Architectural Technician, Derby, Derby - Simon Foote Architects Limited
Simon Foote Architects are looking to for an enthusiastic architectural technician with experience in the residential and commercial sectors.
Our friendly practice, based close to Derby city centre, currently has projects ranging from house extensions, one off houses, industrial and office developments, conservation projects and larger housing developments which the candidate will be involved with.
You should have experience with completing drawings for building regulation applications, detailed working drawings, NBS specifications, and Code for Sustainable Homes details and specifications. A knowledge of planning procedures and policies would be advantageous.
Core Responsibilities Include:
Liaison with existing and new clients
Development of detailing to buildings
Coordination with Structural engineers, M&E consultants, and Environmental consultants
Project management
Maintaining information on projects and clients
Required Skills:
A clear and confident communicator both verbally and written
Highly organised, accurate, and with good time-management skills
Competent in using AutoCad software, MS office, and generally IT literature
Experience:
With a minimum of 3 years industry experience and a track record working on a variety projects.
It is beneficial that you have a passion for architecture and design in general.
There is the possibility of flexible working hours for a suitable candidate.
