15.03.10 GRAPHIC DESIGNER, Derby - KISS Design
We are looking for an excellent all-round graphic designer with a proven background in web and graphic design.
Ideally you will have a minimum of two years' experience working within a studio environment.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic, you must be able to create eye-catching designs for both on and off line applications. An understanding of the latest web technologies is essential.
You will have the opportunity to work for a range of different clients - from small start-ups to large organsations, public sector and non-profit making organisations.
You must be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash. A working knowledge of at least one server-side scripting language (PHP, ASP) is essential.
You will be required to advise and assist colleagues where necessary and work under direction as well as unsupervised. Experience in production management is essential.
Your role will include:
· Taking client briefs
· Advising clients on design issues and options
· Liaising with clients throughout the lifecycle of their job, from brief to delivery of the finished product
· Designing a range of on and off-line material
· Preparing files for print and uploading advertisements
· Production administration
· Liaising with printers
· Creating and nurturing relationships with clients
