20.03.12 Festival Chairperson, Wirksworth - Wirksworth Festival
Wirksworth Festival is currently seeking a Chairperson with the skills to lead and direct the Festival Board and employees.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Arts and/or a background in business with the stature to represent the Festival at a local, regional and national level.
The Festival is clearly established as a leading rural art festival. An ambitious contemporary visual art programme coupled with a focused marketing strategy has seen a significant increase in the quality, reach and impact of the Festival. In 2010 and 2011 we achieved record audiences, with over 10,000 people taking part and over 170 artists exhibiting in our opening weekend.
